Meet Sweet Sampson. Sampson is a 15 year old Beagle and is cute as can be. He belongs to friends of my sister, and recently they found out that this precious face is sick 🙁 Sampson has a very aggressive form of bone cancer and unfortunately, because of it, his days are limited. His family wanted to remember him as the vibrant, healthy, turkey loving Sampson that he is, so that’s where I came in 🙂 We took a few pictures of Sammy last week while he is still in good spirits, and I think they came out great. It just makes me happy to know there are other families out there that love their dogs as much as I love mine 😉
We used pieces of left over Thanksgiving turkey to keep his attention. I think he liked it 🙂
He laid down for a minute a decided he wanted to show off for us by rolling around in the grass. Adorable.
These are Sampson’s siblings, Valor and Hope. They were jealous Sam got all the time in the spotlight 😉

Lindsay!! These are awesome! I got a little teary-eyed looking at them. You really captured his soul in so many of the pictures. You know the eyes are the gateway to the soul (or something like that). I really wasn’t sure that ANYONE would really be able to take pictures of a dog, but hot-digidy-dog did you ever. I love them all! But, I think I am partial to the B/W ones-maybe because you can’t really see all the gray/white hair he has now. Thank you a million times! AIR FIVE FOR YOU! Thanks E for helping; I know how much you love Scambo (I think you are the only one who calls him that, so I suppose that is your “pet” name for him! Love to you both!
