Really, I take far too many pictures of my dogs. I know this, I’m okay with this, and in fact, I enjoy this. Not only is it time spent with my camera in my hand, but it’s also creating great keepsakes for years to come. I was outside playing with (and taking pictures of) my pups yesterday, when out of nowhere, Sammy dog decided he wanted to play with Maddux. And by play with Maddux, I mean do anything he can to start a wrestling match with Maddux!! Surprisingly, my Mad dog obliged, and Jackson and I sat and watched these two play. It was then I realized just one short year ago, Sam joined this family in precisely the same way. The day after we brought him home, I took a picture of Sam biting Maddux’s ear trying to play with him. Yesterday, I took the same picture except Sammy has gotten quite a bit bigger! I then realized I got more pictures of Sam doing similar activities to the day we got him, so I thought I’d use this post to celebrate one year with Sam by doing a little then and now!
Day one on the left, yesterday on the right
Day one with his toy
Yesterday with his favorite toy(s)
Day one with big brother Maddux
Yesterday: Maddux fights back 🙂
Just a few more of these two play fighting. The one on the top right looks so ferocious but tails were wagging, I promise!
And because I can’t leave him out, here’s my Jack…in desperate need of a hair cut
