Since I just posted to 2011 recap of my weddings and sessions from the year, that means it’s time to do the behind the scenes for 2011! This has, quite possibly, become my favorite post of the year to sit and put together. I did my first behind the scenes post last year, and I got such a kick out of putting it together, I had to do it again this year! At almost all of my weddings in 2011, Erica, my assistant (who also happens to be my older sister), shot with me. We do our best to stay out of each others way, but it doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, we get in each other shots, whether by accident or on purpose, and the folder of images I have at the end of the year is full of us doing all kinds of things! I’ve compiled a few of my favorite ‘behind the scenes’ photos for you viewing (and my giggling) pleasure 🙂
When we shoot, we get pictures of each other shooting… 
We play peek-a-boo…
We show you just how much cake we plan on eating ourselves…
We do our best Mary Kathryn Gallagher…”sometimes when I get nervous…”
We even try our hand at the Tebow…
We get tired on the job, so we take a quick nap…
We borrow your mirrors to make sure we look good too…
We make sure ours nails are dry before we get going…
We show you the best way to hold multiple drinks at your reception…
We get a little extra height…
We prepare for our symphony conducting debut (I have no idea why I’m standing like this…)
We say a little prayer the pictures come out perfectly (no idea why I’m standing like this either!)…
We bust out our old school Kriss Kross dance moves when the bride and groom aren’t looking…
We can’t believe she did that either…I mean, Oh no she diiiin’t…
We solve the worlds problems with the flower girls…
We plot attempts at stealing the bride’s beautiful rings…
We make sure to properly represent by getting our Guns Up during the Aggie War Hymn 😉
We also like to chicken dance…
We make really ridiculous faces…
We…well, we do this…
We get excited when we get the shot…
We get hungry sometimes…
Most of all, we love shooting the amazing weddings of our amazing clients. I CANNOT wait to see what 2012 has in store for Lindsay Elizabeth Photography!
