Since I recently took some time to do a year end recap of lots of the amazing weddings and sessions I shot last year, I thought I’d take some time to do a little behind the scenes post as well. At almost every wedding I shot in 2010, Erica (my assistant who also happens to be my sister) and I have ended up taking photos of each other in some capacity. Whether it was intentional or we just walked in each others shots, we’ve ended up capturing each other doing all kinds of things! I’ve compiled a small “best of” for your viewing (and giggling) pleasure 🙂
When we shoot, we get in each others frames…
We delicately hang dresses…
We sing opera?… (why am I standing like this?!?)
We play peek-a-boo…
We cover all the angles…
We sit down on the job…
We get so excited that we just can’t hide it…
We take pictures in mirrors…
We’re light testing models…
We get all up in your personal space…
We have horrible posture… (seriously, what is this?!?)
We have an affinity for shoes…
We take naps when we’re tired…
We act like flight attendants. “There’s an exit on both sides of the aircraft”…
We work it….even if we are a hot mess… (The hair? The clothes? Yikes…)
We dab away tears (always dab, never wipe!)…
Most of all, we have a great time shooting some amazing clients!! I can’t wait to see what 2011 will hold for LPP! 🙂
